Manager - Meredyth Hughes
Qualifications:
Science degree UNSW
Certificate in Sustainable Agriculture
Meredyth is our general manager. She has been breeding, breaking in and training her own horses since 2001. She has been doing her own AI work for 5 years with great success. Your broodmare and youngsters will be in great hands. Meredyth has recently completed a Certificate in Sustainable Agriculture. She is passionate about making sure we have the best available pasture for your horse's nutritional needs. Her knowledge in horse health will leave you with peace of mind while your horse is at Lisheen Agistment.
Stable Manager and Trainer - Emily Hagger
Emily has been training horses since she was a teenager. She rode for Bev and Ernie of Penrose Stud. She took her skills to the Highlands Equestrian Centre in Sutton Forest where she taught for several years. She has further honed her breaking in skills while training with Warrick McLean from the Australian Equestrain Behavioural Centre. She combines a bit of natural horsemanship with the McLean theory of "foundation training"to create calm and confident horses. Emily's knowledge on horse husbandry makes her a huge asset to Lisheen Agistment. Your horse will be cared for under attentive eyes.
